Mark,
I want to obtain a General Permit for dredging under Section 1500.
My CAMA General permit is 2004 — No. 3968 at 102 Ann Street, Beaufort.
I have experienced natural siltation and "cast-off' siltation resulting from the dredging of the adjacent
slips (The Beaufort Inn No. 019994-C — located at 101 Ann Street and an ongoing maintenance dredging
project for the adjacent and contiguous slips.)
There is a minimum amount of excavation required. I have under 800 cu. ft. of material involved. This property
was excavated and maintained when it was used as an oyster boat dock and shucking facility, but not since I
purchased it in 1977. 1 did not need to excavate when I put in these slips, but the year's of adjacent dredging has
made my slips too shallow to use for many boats.
I would like to request a site visit related to this permit.
Thanks,
mtjee graclted
