Re : General Permit No. 021914A
Dear Ms. Davies :
OCT 0 7 1999
This letter is in reference to your CAMA. General Permit which was issued on June 28, 1999.
This permit authorized the construction and/or placement of a bulkhead along the shoreline of
property located at Lot H108, Hidden Valley Trail, Holiday Island, within the waters of a man-
made canal to the Albemarle Sound in Perquimans County.
On October 4, 1999 a site visit was conducted at this site to determine and confirm that your
project was completed in accordance with the Specific Conditions concerning bulkhead shoreline
stabilization structures referenced in Subchapter 7H . 1100 of the North Carolina Administrative
Code and the Coastal Area Management Act. During this inspection, it became apparent that
you have not completed all the work proposed and previously authorized under the above
referenced General Permit. As a courtesy, I wish to remind you that CAMA Permit 021914A
expired on September 26, 1999 . Since the remaining work falls within the permit jurisdictional
areas defined as Estuarine Waters and/or Public Trust Area, as described in Subchapter 7H .0206
and .0207 respectively, of the North Carolina Administrative Code, a permit will be required
from this Division prior to the completion of this project as originally approved in CAMA General
Permit 021914A.
Than you for your time and cooperation in regard to this / these matter(s). If you have any
questions, please feel free to contact me at (252) 264-3901.
Sincerely,
1
