Attached is the concurrence from Mr, Harold Milholen who owns the property at 1909 Ocean Drive. I spoke with both Mr. & Mrs. William London (1805 Ocean Drive property owners) on 10/4/99 and they said it was okay. Unfortunately, when I called them (9I9- 489-3950) today to inquire on the forms status since it had not arrived yet in New Jersey, Mrs. London informed me that Mr. London had just been released from the hospital after an emergency admission. She said she would forward the form as soon as she could. I will fax that form to you once I receive it here in New ,jersey. I would greatly appreciate it if you could start the permit process pending final approval on it's receipt. I have been in contact with Cecil Carter (910-330-3475) of Surf City, NC and he will be doing the sand bag installation. Tim Cunningham, maintenance supervisor - Emerald Isle Realty, will be working with the Town of Emerald Isle in coordinating the securing our handicapped ramp access and installing beach access. I've also attached the sketch that was sent to Tim to assist him in getting a permit (access & ramp repair) from the town so the cottage can be declared "safe". Each bag when filled is 10 feet long by 5 feet wide and two feet high. The bags will be installed 3 bags wide at the base, 2 bags on top of that and one bag atop the two. The center of then sand bags will be 20 feet from the SeaBireeze foundation. .
