This permit is subject to compliance with this application, site
drawing and attached general and specific conditions. Any
violation of these terms may subject the permittee to a fine,
imprisonment or civil action; and may cause the permit to be-
come null and void.
This permit must be on the project site and accessible to the
permit officer when the project is inspected for compliance.
The applicant certifies by signing this permit that 1) this pro-
ject is consistent with the local land use plan and all local
ordinances, and 2) a written statement has been obtained from
adjacent riparian landowners certifying that they have no
objections to the proposed work.
In issuing this permit the State of North Carolina certifies that
this project is consistent with the North Carolina Coastal
Management Program.

This letter is in reference to your CAMA General Permit which was issued on June 30, 1999.
This permit authorized the construction of a boat lift/ boat house structure along the shoreline of
your property located at 22 Soundside Drive, within the waters of the Albemarle Sound in
Perquimans County.
On October 20, 1999 a site visit was conducted at this site to determine and confirm that your
project was completed in accordance with the Specific Conditions concerning boat house and
boat lift structures as referenced in Subchapter 7H .1200 of the North Carolina Administrative
Code and the Coastal Area Management Act. During this inspection, it became apparent that
you have not completed all the work proposed and previously authorized under the above
referenced General Permit. CAMA Permit 021918A authorized a roof structure (boat house)
along with the boat lift structure. As a courtesy, I wish to remind you that CAMA Permit
021918A expired on September 28, 1999. If you intend to still construct a roof over your lift
structure, this remaining work falls within the permit jurisdictional areas defined as Estuarine
Waters and/or Public Trust Area, as described in Subchapter 7H .0206 and .0207 respectively, of
the North Carolina Administrative Code, and will require a permit from this Division prior to the
completion of this project as originally approved in CAMA General Permit 021918A.
