This permit is subject to compliance with this application, site
drawing and attached general and specific conditions. Any
violation of these terms may subject the permittee to a fine,
imprisonment or civil action; and may cause the permit to be-
come null and void.
This permit must be on the project site and accessible to the
permit officer when the project is inspected for compliance.
The applicant certifies by signing this permit that 1) this pro-
ject is consistent with the local land use plan and all local
ordinances, and 2) a written statement has been obtained from
adjacent riparian landowners certifying that they have no
objections to the proposed work.

Please find attached a copy of the revised general permit (No. 22265-C) for Mr. Balsome's
lot in Dolphin Point. As we discussed on Tuesday, May 18", the overall length of the pier
and tie poles was reduced to meet the maximum pier length allowance. The permit was
initially issued on May 13, 1999, based on a drawing you submitted. It was later determined
that the existing piers shown on this drawing were not to scale.
This revision is based on scaled aerial photography of Pierce Creek as well as creek width
data submitted to this office under the major permit application for the Dolphin Point
Community Dock (just downstream of lot #33). Please be aware that under no circumstance
shall the proposed pier, including tie poles and platform, exceed the existing pier head line (as
established by the existing, adjacent piers and tie poles). The proposed structure may extend
to this line so long as this distance is less than or equal to one third the creek width.
