Attached is General Permit #017025-C to install rock rip rap along your canal shoreline,
off China Grove Road, near Janerio, in Pamlico County.
In order to validate this permit, please sign all three (3) copies as indicated. Retain the
white copy for your files and return the yellow and pink signed copies to us in the enclosed,
self-addressed envelope.

ADJACENT RIPARIAN PROPERTY OWNER STATEMENT
October 27, 1996
We certify that we own property adjacent to Terrence D. & Marguerite J.
Sullivan's property (hereafter "Sullivan' property) located at Lot# 3, Janerio Park Section
2, Township 5 on the Neuse River, in Pamlico County, North Carolina.
The Applicant has described to us, as shown below, the development proposed at
the above location. We understand that any construction. excluding bulkheads, must be set
back a minimum of fifteen feet (1 5') from our area of riparian access unless waived by us.
We have no objection to the project as proposed below and do wish to waive the
(1 5') set back requirement.
DESCRIPTION OF PROPOSED DEVELOPIVIENT:
That ground cloth (to stop erosion) and rock facing be used to bring to level the remaining
portion of Mr. Sullivan's property facing the canal from the newly -installed vinyl
bulkhead to the beginning of our property; and that that area be levelled by filling it with
top soil. All of the proposed development to be on the , lliv's property.

Pamlico County, North Carolina.
The Applicant has described to me, as shown below, the development proposed at
