Any person who proceeds with a development without the con-
sent of a CAMA official under the mistaken assumption that the
development is exempted, will be in violation of the CAMA if there
is a subsequent determination that a permit was required for the
development.
The applicant certifies by signing this exemption that (1) the ap-
plicant has read and will abide by the conditions of this exemp-
tion, and (2) a written statement has been obtained from adjacent
landowners certifying that they have no objections to the
proposed work.

COMMENTS:
Thank you for send the enclosed Certicate
of Exemption.
It is fine , with one exception. The walkway
from the land runs to the pier proper to the right
end, rather than the left end. Note that I have
marked that variance on the returned copies.
The walkway has been that way for many
years.
I am assuming that the land side is on the
bottom of your diagram.
If I do not hear from you further, I will
assume we may proceed with replacing our pier
as it was, if the weather will cooperate and the water
will warm up a bit.
