The proposed project to be located and constructed as described
above is hereby certified as exempt from the CAMA permit re-
quirement pursuant to 15 NCAC 7K .0203. This exemption to
CAMA permit requirements does not alleviate the necessity of
your obtaining any other State, Federal, or Local authorization.
This certification of exemption from requiring a CAMA permit is
valid for 90 days from the date of issuance. Following expiration,
a re-examination of the project and project site may be necessary
to continue this certification.

Any person who proceeds with a development without the con-
sent of a CAMA official under the mistaken assumption that the
development is exempted, will be in violation of the CAMA if there
is a subsequent determination that a permit was required for the
development.
The applicant certifies by signing this exemption that (1) the ap-
plicant has read and will abide by the conditions of this exemp-
tion, and (2) a written statement has been obtained from adjacent
landowners certifying that they have no objections to the
proposed work.

attached workplan drawing dated 5/17/95.
This permit, issued on JUNE 23, 1995 is subject to compliance with the application (where consistent
with the permit), all applicable regulations, special conditions and notes set forth below. Any violation of these terms may be
subject to a fine, imprisonment or civil action; or may cause the permit to be null and void.
1) This modification authorizes the placement of tie piles as indicated on the 5;17/95 workplan
drawing.
2) No more than 10 boats may be docked at the pier at any one time.
3) This permit mod ification/renewal must be attached to the original of permit m1"-91, and must
be readily available on site when a Division representative inspects the project for compliance.
4) All conditions of the original permit remain in force unless altered herein.
This permit action may be appealed by the pe mittee or
other qualified persons within twenty (20) days of the
issuing date. An appeal requires resolution prior to work
initiation or continuance, as the case may be.
This permit must be accessible on -site to Department
personnel when the project is inspected for compliance.
Anv maintenance work or project modification not
covered hereunder requires further Departmental approval.
All work must cease when the permit expires on
June 30. 1997
In issuing this permit, the State of North Carolina agrees
that your project is consistent with the Noah Carolina
Coastal Management Program.
Signed by the authority of the Secretary of DEHNR and the
Chairman of the Coastal Resources Commission.
