This permit is subject to compliance with this application, site
drawing and attached general and specific conditions. Any
violation of these terms may subject the permittee to a fine,
imprisonment or civil action; and may cause the permit to be-
come null and void.
This permit must be on the project site and accessible to the
permit officer when the project is inspected for compliance.
The applicant certifies by signing this permit that 1) this pro-
ject is consistent with the local land use plan and all local
ordinances, and 2) a written statement has been obtained from
adjacent riparian landowners certifying that they have no
objections to the proposed work.

Dear Mr. McLarnb,
Mr. and Mrs. Robert Monk, Jr. from Farmvill.e, NC are
purchasing the creekfront lot (Lot #8) next to your lot on
South Spooner's Drive. They are desiring to put in a
seawall and dock. In order to comply with the Coastal Area
Management Associations (C.A.M.A.) requirements for a
construction permit, the Monks must notify the adjacent
property owners of their intentions. This is the same thing
that had to be done when you purchased your lot. As you can
see from the enclosed sketch, the Monks are not building any
part of their dock within the 15' setback to your property
line. They are not asking you to waive the setback
requirements. They would simply like for you to acknowledge
receipt of their required notification by signing the
enclosed form and return to me in the enclosed envelope
