drawing and attached general and specific conditions. Any
violation of these terms may subject the permittee to a fine,
imprisonment or civil action; and may cause the permit to be-
come null and void.
This permit must be on the project site and accessible to the
permit officer when the project is inspected for compliance.
The applicant certifies by signing this permit that 1) this pro-
ject is consistent with the local land use plan and all local
ordinances, and 2) a written statement has been obtained from
adjacent riparian landowners certifying that they have no
objections to the proposed work.

With reference to our telephone conversation regarding my plan to constrict a pier in
front of my property at Lot 8, 147 South Spooner's Creek Drive, Carteret County, NC,
please find enclosed a acceptance form, pier description drawing, and return address
envelope. As discussed, Chuck Bissett of T D Eure Construction Company met with a
representative of CAMA to discuss the layout of the pier due to the angle of your existing
pier. From that conversation, Chuck drew a new plan, which requires that I notify my
riparian neighbors and provide them the opportunity to comment.
Please note on the drawing that the pier setback on both sides exceed the required 15 feet.
After receipt of this letter, you have 10 days to respond back to the Division of Coastal
Management (C.A.M.A.), Heston Plaza #2, 151B, Highway 24, Morehead City, NC
28557, 919-808-2808, with any objections. If C.A.M.A. does not hear from you within 10
days, they will assume you have no objections. If there are not objections, please sign and
date the enclosed statement and return it to me by mail or if possible by FAX (919-753-
8406).
I'm sorry that you were unable to meet with Chuck last Friday. If you have any questions,
please contact me at home (919-753-5556), work (919-753-8000), FAX (919-753-8406)
or Chuck Bissett (919-728-4191). This plan will give me good access from the north side
as you presently have and I will be better able to work with Ed Muendel on the south side
as he has limited waterfront footage.

soon as possible.

location and I have no objections to his proposal. I understand that a pier must be set
back a minimum distance of fifteen feet (15') from my area of riparian access unless
waived by me.
