As discussed, Chuck Bissett of T D Eure Construction Company met with a representative of CAMA to discuss the layout of the pier due to the angle of your existing pier. From that conversation, Chuck drew a new plan, which requires that I notify my riparian neighbors and provide them the opportunity to comment. Please note on the drawing that the pier setback on both sides exceed the required 15 feet. After receipt of this letter, you have 10 days to respond back to the Division of Coastal Management (C.A.M.A.), Heston Plaza #2, 151B, Highway 24, Morehead City, NC 28557, 919-808-2808, with any objections. If C.A.M.A. does not hear from you within 10 days, they will assume you have no objections. If there are not objections, please sign and date the enclosed statement and return it to me by mail or if possible by FAX (919-753- 8406). I'm sorry that you were unable to meet with Chuck last Friday. This plan will give me good access from the north side as you presently have and I will be better able to work with Ed Muendel on the south side as he has limited waterfront footage.
