Enclosed is General Permit # C-015888 issued to Mr. John Michael Morris authorizing the
construction of a pier adjacent to his property located at 660 Wetherington Landing Road, on
Neal's Creek in the community of Stella, Carteret County.
If you disagree with this permit decision you may file a request for a Third Party Hearing with the
chairman of the Coastal Resources Commission. It will be up to the chairman to determine if the
hearing request is granted. This request must be filed within 20 days of the permit decision, and
you should contact me for the appropriate forms to make such a request.

WITNESSETH, that the Grantor, for a valuable consideration paid by the Grantee, the receipt of which is hereby
acknowledged, has and by these presents does grant, bargain, sell and convey unto the Grantee in fee simple, all that
certain lot or parcel of land situated in the City of _. _. I , WHITE OAK Township,
CARTERET County, North Carolina and more particularly described as follows:
Beginning at a concrete monument in the Vivian Simpson eastern boundary line (Ref.
Deed Book 425, Page 475), said concrete monument being South 3-50 West 2,039.13 feet
from the southern right—of—way of SR #1101 and runs South 86-08-55 East 175 feet to
a concrete monument; thence South 3-51-05 West 1,237.91 feet to the center of Neals
Creek; thence with the center of Neals Creek as it meanders to a point being the
Vivian Simpson southeast corner; thence with the Vivian Simpson eastern boundary
line North 3-51-05 East 690.99 feet to the beginning and being a portion of the John
F. Morris property as described in Deed Book 304, Page 348, Carteret County Registry.
The Grantor herein further gives, grants, and conveys unto the Grantee, the perpetual
right and easement of egress, ingress, and regress, over and upon a road twenty (20)
feet in width and more particularly described as follows:
Beginning at a point in the southern right—of—way of SR #1101, said point being the
Vivian Simpson and John F. Morris corner; thence South 3-50 West 1,237.91 feet to a
concrete monument; thence South 86-08-55 East 20 feet to a point; thence North 3-50
East 1,237.91 feet to a point in the southern right—of—way of SR #1101; thence with
the southern right—of—way of SR #1101 in a westerly direction 20 feet to the point of
beginning.

This conveyance is made in accordance with North Carolina General Statute Sec. 39-13.3
for the purpose of dissolving a tenancy by entirety in the aforedescribed parcel and
vesting said parcel in the Grantee, solely and individually, in fee simple. The Grantor
hereby consents to the Grantee's subsequent conveyance of said property without her
joinder, and she hereby specifically waives and releases any right she may have acquired
in said property by reason of her marriage to the Grantee.
