Subject: Bogue Inlet Boatominium Maintenance Dredging
Mr. Dave Owens,
This letter is to inform you of our intent to perform maintenance dredging at the Bogue
Inlet Boatominium Marina which is located adjacent to your property and also adjacent to
the property known as the Flying Bridge Restaurant on Hwy 24E or 328 Cedar Point
Blvd in Cedar Point, NC.
The dredging will be in and about the area of Slip #28 which is located on the north/west
corner of the marina. This slip has experienced shoaling over the years and has become
too shallow for a boat to occupy the slip. Presently, the depth of the slip is approximately
1-'/z feet at low tide.
The strategy for dredging is to use an excavator positioned along the bulkheaded seawall
to "reach out" into the slip and dredge the area of the slip. The amount of dredging is
estimated at loft x 30ft x 3ft, or 33 cubic yards. The dredge spoils will be hauled offsite.
The required permitting (CAMA etc) will be obtained as required.
Please sign, date, and return this letter to the Boatominium address above.
