Adjacent riparian property owner's statements are also enclosed from pier co-owner and neighbors on each side of respective properties. Current pier square footage, excluding access, is 193 square feet. Our permit request is for a 7 foot by 16 foot extension (112 square feet) to accommodate a second boat at the end of the pier in front of the 208 Old Causeway property. (Our half of the pier square footage would total 191 sq. ft. leaving pier co owner with 209 square ft.) We would also be adding two pilings to the front of the new addition at locations to accommodate a boat with a 10' beam. From our previous conversation, it is my understanding that the existing piling in front of the proposed new pier extension needs to be removed.
