Chisel compacted areas and spread topsoil inches deep over adverse soil conditions, if available. 2. Rip entire area to 4-6 inches in depth. 3. Remove all loose rock, roots, and other obF ructions leaving surface reasonably smooth and uniform. 4. Continue tillage until a well -pulverized, firn reasonably uniform seedbed is prepared 4 to 6 inches deep. SOD INSTALLATION 1. All sod and Installation techniques shall adhere to turfgrass producers international guideline specifications, current edition. 2. Sod areas to be sodded with workable size r ills that are not broken or stretched. Sod shall be free of thatch. Sod ing is to be done in early spring or early fall. Sod shall be installer within 24 hours of arrival at the site. 3. Sod shall be laid parallel to the contours ant, shall have staggered joints on slopes greater than 3:1 or in drainag - swales sod shall be staked. 4. Apply starter fertilizer at time of sodding at , ate recommended by manufacturer. Contractor is responsible for th initial watering. MAINTENANCE 1.
