Statement of Compliance and Consistency
This permit is subject to compliance with this application, site drawing and attached general and specific conditions. Any
violation of these terms may subject the permittee to a fine or criminal or civil action; and may cause the permit to become
null and void.
This permit must be on the project site and accessible to the permit officer when the project is inspected for compliance. The
applicant certifies by signing this permit that 1) prior to undertaking any activities authorized by this permit, the applicant will
confer with appropriate local authorities to confirm that this project is consistent with the local land use plan and all local
ordinances, and 2) a written statement or certified mail return receipt has been obtained from the adjacent riparian
landowner(s) .
The State of North Carolina and the Division of Coastal Management, in issuing this permit under the best available
information and belief, certifythatthis project is consistent with the North Carolina Coastal Management Program.

This is in follow-up to Our phone conversation today to advise that the two contractors authorized
and I have signed contracts to perform the work on my property on Star Church Road in
Marshallburg are as follows:
o Eric Pake Jr. Construction, Inc. — Excavation and backfill
o Turner Marine (Robbie Webb) — Bulkhead and dock installation.
As for pickup of the permit I spoke to Eric Pake and he will stop by your office on Monday to pick
it up,

Hi Tere,
I am following up to obtain the permit for the excavation and to also extend the permit for the dock and seawall on my property in
Marshallburg. I will be in Carteret County this coming Tuesday, September 19th and was wondering if I could stop by your office and
pay any fees and pick up the permits. My reason is that I have chosen contractors to do the work (Eric Pake will be doing the
excavation and Turner Marine will be doing the dock and seawall).
I will be meeting with them on the 19th to sign contracts and Eric is set to start the excavation work once the area opens up for
excavation in early October, then Turner marine will come in to do the docks/seawall. My goal is to have all the work completed by
November 1st.
Please advise if you have any questions and what the fees will be for the two permits. Thank you for follow-up and do hope to see
you this coming Tuesday.
