This permit is subject to compliance with this application, site
drawing and attached general and specific conditions. Any
violation of these terms may subject the permittee to a fine,
imprisonment or civil action; and may cause the permit to be-
come null and void. �I
This permit must be on the project site and accessible to the
permit officer when the project is inspected for compliance.
The applicant certifies by signing this permit that 1) this pro-
ject is consistent with the local land use plan and all local
ordinances, and 2) a written statement has been obtained from
adjacent riparian landowners certifying that they have no
objections to the proposed work.

This is a letter of intent to modify my dock, located on the North side of
my land on Emerald Isle, and in Bogue Sound.
It is my intent to remove my old boat lift inside the boathouse, move my
PWC lift into the boathouse and then to install four round, treated pilings
off the North end of my dock to enable me to install an Ace Verti-Lift to
enable me to lift my boat clear of the water for storage and safety during
storms.
As part of my application to CAMA for the minor permit required to install
the boat lift in question, I must ask the permission of the adjoining
property owners.
If you have no objection to the installation of my proposed boat lift,
please indicate below and sign the letter in the space provided. If you
do object, please also note such in the space below and sign the letter in
the space provided.

In order to comply with the current limitations
contained within the new CAMA regulations,
which preclude more than two boat facilities,
it is my intention to remove the old boat lift
inside the boathouse. I will then move the
PWC lift into the existing boathouse. We will
then install the new boat lift on four pilings off
the North end of the pier and parallel to the
long axis of the finger pier at the end of my
existing pier.
