4) THE PREVIOUS OWNERS OF THE PROPERTY AT 200 N. HOLLAND POINT DR. SPENT
ELEVEN YEARS HARASSING US ABOUT BUILDING THINGS OWN OUR PROPERTY, EVEN
TO STOPPING THE BUILDING OF OUR HOME THREE TIMES AND THREATENING US WITH
LAW SUITS BECAUSE THE HOUSE WAS NOT BIG ENOUGH TO BE BESIDE HIS, BECAUSE
THE ONLY HOMES HE THOUGHT SHOULD BE IN THE NEIGHBORHOOD SHOULD ALL BE
BRICK AND BECAUSE HE DID NOT LIKE WHERE THE HEALTH DEPARTMENT TOLD US TO
PLACE OUR SEWER TANK. OUR CONSTRUCTION CREWS WERE SO AFRAID OF HIM
THEY TOOK ALL THEIR EQUIPMENT HOME EACH NIGHT FOR FEAR HE WOULD DESTROY
IT.
THE ONLY THING THAT WE WANT IS TO ENJOY THE LITTLE TIME WE HAVE TO SEE, HEAR,
AND SMELL THE QUIET FRESH BEAUTY OF THE NATURAL SETTING AT SWANSBORO. WE
WERE HOPING THAT THE QUICK'S WOULD BE INTERESTED IN THE SAME THINGS.

1).A 200 FT. PIER (I SHOULD TELL YOU THAT MAY PUT YOU RIGHT OUT ON A SAND BAR)
2) THE PIER FACE OUT TOWARDS THE RIGHT, IN LINE WITH WHAT THE COMMUNITY PIER
DOES.
3) THAT A BOAT LIFT BE BUILT WITHOUT A BOAT HOUSE TO OBSTRUCT THE VIEW
AND,
4) THAT IF ANY TYPE OF MOVING LAND OR BUILD ANY STRUCTURE NEAR OUR PROPERTY
NEEDS TO STAY AT LEAST 15' FROM OUR LAND.
BY THE WAY, THE BEGINNING OF THE LAND FALLING IN THE WATER WAS DUE TO THE
PREVIOUS OWNERS PUTTING IN A PIPE TO DRAIN THEIR BASEMENT. PRIOR TO THAT THE
SLOPS WERE SOLID. WE HAVE ALREADY LOSS 15 TO 20 FEET OF PROPERTY DO TO OUR

I am providing a description of the proposed retaining wall and dock for 200 North Holland Point Drive
Stella, NC. After your review can you please sign the enclosed Division of Coastal Management Adjacent
Riparian Property Owner Notification/ Waiver Form. If you have objections to what is being proposed please
write to the Division of Coastal Management, Hesteron Plaza II, 151 B, Hwy, 24, Morehead City, NC 28557,
Phone: (252) 808-2808 within 10 days of receipt of r. No response is considered the same as no
objection. I would like to take a moment to describe the proposed dock and retaining wall. The retaining wall
will be constructed by Prowant Marine Construction and it will be of the design enclosed. The back yard will
be graded on a 1 to 4 slope to the retaining wall. The wall will be approximately 100 to 109 feet lonwith two
45-foot return walls on either side. There will be a 5-foot wide dock that will from the center
of-je_xPra_+',,;no wall. This wall will be elevated at least 3 feet above any coastal wetland substrate. At lie —end
of the dock, there will be a roofed boat slip with a deck not to exceed 400 sf.
