drawing and attached general and specific conditions. Any
violation of these terms may subject the permittee to a fine,
imprisonment or civil action; and may cause the permit to be-
come null and void.
This permit must be on the project site and accessible to the
permit officer when the project is inspected for compliance.
The applicant certifies by signing this permit that 1) this pro-
ject is consistent with the local land use plan and all local
ordinances, and 2) a written statement has been obtained from
adjacent riparian landowners certifying that they have no
objections to the proposed work.

Subject: Possible New Dock Configuration
Ms. Barrett, after speaking with you on the phone I have revised by new
configuration to remove 552 sq.ft. of dock and add back only 286 sq.ft.
Should this meet with your approval, at some point in this process could I change
my mind about making the new 286 sq.ft. floating dock instead of fixed dock? If yes,
at what point might that be?
Is the spacing between the outside mooring piling (front to back) important to the
permit? For example could I snake it 22' between them instead of 20' as long as I
stay on the line and don't extend past the 161' permitted? In other words can I get
into construction and relocate them based on water depth if necessary?
Also, please note that I had to add a center mooring piling to the configuration after
removing the piling supporting the lift.

Ms. Barrett, could ,you tell me if my idea of modifying my dock would likely be
permitted? AIso, is the Adjacent Riparian Landowners Statement acceptable for
this use?
In summary I would be adding three outside mooring pillion to my west, replacing
three to my cast where four currently exist, and removing 480sq.ft. of dock space
and adding back 120sq.ft. The reason for adding hack the two narrow fingers is so I
would have some way to get on and off the boat
Both adjacent landowners have tentatively agreed to this plan subject to your
opinion. of course, I do not want to remove the big fingers if l can't add back the
small fingers. I would like to leave the lift until I find a buyer (keep it together).
Please advise as soon as possible. Ronnie damaged my neighbor's dock and I have
gifted him the dock materials I would be removing if allowed.

ADJACENT KtYARIAN LANDOWNERS STATEMENT
General Statute 113-229 requires that riparian landowners with property
adjoining a proposed excavation and/or fill project be given thirty (30) days in which to
comment on the project. This form allows the adjacent riparian landowner to express
either: (1) that he/she objects to the project or, (2) that he/she does not object and desires
to waive his/her right to the 30-day period so that the processing of the application can
progress more rapidly. Of course, the adjacent riparian landowner need not sign this
farm at all if he/she so chooses.
