Thanks again for meeting with me on October 11`b at108 Mossey Lane in Mashallberg
regarding a permit for a dock. Per our discussions and the requirements of the Division of
Coastal Management I have changed the layout of the dock. The pier leading out to the
L-Head will be 145 feet from shore and five foot wide, and 3 feet above the marsh
substrate. The L-Head attached to the end of the pier will be 10' x 20' with a 13'xl3'
boat lift on the end of the L-Head. The dock (pier and L-Head) will be 15, from adjacent
riparian corridors. A diagram of the dock is enclosed in the attached Adjacent Riparian
Property Owner Statements from Bernie Davis and Alene Gillikin.
I will be sending a $200 check paid to the order of NCDENR to your attention at 400
Commerce Ave.
