Statement of Compliance and Consistency
This permit is subject to compliance with this application, site drawing and attached general and specific conditions. Any
violation of these terms may subject the permittee to a fine or criminal or civil action; and may cause the permit to become
null and void.
This permit must be on the project site and accessible to the permit officer when the project is inspected for compliance. The
applicant certifies by signing this permit that 1) prior to undertaking any activities authorized by this permit, the applicant will
confer with appropriate local authorities to confirm that this project is consistent with the local land use plan and all local
ordinances, and 2) a written statement or certified mail return receipt has been obtained from the adjacent riparian
landowner(s) .
The State of North Carolina and the Division of Coastal Management, in issuing this permit under the best available
information and belief, certify that this project is consistent with the North Carolina Coastal Management Program.

Electrical, Plumbing, Heating and Air Conditioning, Insulation and Energy Conservation, FIA Certification, Sand Dune, Sediment Control,

FOR DEVELOPERS IN OCEAN HAZARD AND ESTUARINE HAZARD AREAS:
I acknowledge that the land owner is aware that the proposed development is planned for an area which may be
susceptible to erosion and/or flooding. I acknowledge that the local permit officer has explained to me the particular
hazard problems associated with this lot. This explanation was accompanied by recommendations concerning stabilization
and floodproofing techniques.
PERMISSION TO ENTER ON LAND:
I furthermore certify that I am authorized to grant and do in fact grant permission to the local permit officer and his agents
to enter on the aforementioned lands in connection with evaluating information related to this permit application.
This application includes: general information (this form), a site drawing as described on the back of this application, the
ownership statement, the AEC hazard notice where necessary, a check for $100.00 made payable to the locality, and any
information as may be provided orally by the applicant. The details of the application as described by these sources are
incorporated without reference in any permit which may be issued. Deviation from these details will constitute a violation
of any permit. Any person developing in an AEC without permit is subject to civil, criminal and administrative action.

We the property owners of 175 Broad Creek Hoad, New Burn, North Carolina are
notifying the adjacent property owners as by the requirements of C.A.MA 01 our plans
to install shore protection starting at the marsh grass. The shore protection we have
chosen is vinyl sheeting that will be capped off with a walkway, We are also going to
apply for a permit to Install a pier to be located at the end of the vinyl wall.

Re: Proposed Improvements to Property
Dear Adjacent Property Owners,
We the new property owners of 98 Broad Creek Road, New Bern, North Carolina are
notifying the adjacent property owners as by the requirements of C.A.M.A. of what our
plans are for the newly purchased land. We are going to build a house and install a well
and septic system at the locations that are on the attached drawing. We are also going
to apply for a permit to repair the boat ramp and install shore protection from the boat
ramp up to the start of the marsh grass. The shore protection we have chosen is vinyl
sheeting that will be capped off with a four -foot walkway. We are also going to apply for
a permit to install a pier at the location on the attached drawing.
Please complete the "Adjacent Riparian Property Owner Statement' form (page 2 of the
package) and mail back to us using the enclosed stamped envelope. If there are any
legal concerns about the plans and improvements that we are going to make to the
property as an adjacent property owner you have 10 days to respond back. If we have
not received any legal concerns with in 10 days we will apply with C.A.M.A. for our
permits, so we can start our improvements and occupy the property.
