Statement of Compliance and Consistency
This permit is subject to compliance with this application, site drawing and attached general and specific conditions. Any
violation of these terms may subject the permittee to a fine or criminal or civil action; and may cause the permit to become
null and void.
This permit must be on the project site and accessible to the permit officer when the project is inspected for compliance. The
applicant certifies by signing this permit that 1) prior to undertaking any activities authorized by this permit, the applicant will
confer with appropriate local authorities to confirm that this project is consistent with the local land use plan and all local
ordinances, and 2) a written statement or certified mail return receipt has been obtained from the adjacent riparian
landowner(s) .
The State of North Carolina and the Division of Coastal Management, in issuing this permit under the best available
information and belief, certifythat this project is consistent with the North Carolina Coastal Management Program.

I hope you are getting some much needed help these days!
I have included riparian forms for the two adjacent owners for each applicant.
In the case of Bev Marshburn at 161 Creek Road (she is the first lot in on the
road.), she had to get the whole neighborhood to sign off on her left side as it is a
common lot owned by the Creek Rd homeowners. They were all notified and
returned their forms in support of her installing 1 groin.
Her sister is Anne Carry is two lots over at 112 Thurman and her adjacent forms
or notices have been attached. She has over 160' of shoreline and would like 2
groins that are at 100' apart with the setbacks to her neighbors on each side.
had to get an official copy of the signature card from the Postal Supervisor at
the Beaufort East Post office. She printed, stamped and certified it her own hand
writing. Ms. Carry's neighbor Andy McClenny was contacted via certified mail
and two phone calls and offered no objection, but he did not send the form back
and the post office misplaced the green card after scanning it into their official
system.
