This permit is subject to compliance with this application, site
drawing and attached general and specific conditions. Any
violation of these terms may subject the permittee to a fine,
imprisonment or civil action; and may cause the permit to be-
come null and void.
This permit must be on the project site and accessible to the
permit officer when the project is inspected for compliance.
The applicant certifies by signing this permit that 1) this pro-
ject is consistent with the local land use plan and all local
ordinances, and 2) a written statement has been obtained from
adjacent riparian landowners certifying that they have no
objections to the proposed work.
In issuing this permit the State of North Carolina certifies that
this project is consistent with the North Carolina Coastal
Management Program.

Dear Ron,
As owner of lot 1 , I am pursing a general permit with the N.C. Division of Coastal
Management, to place concrete rip rap along a portion of my shoreline. The rip rap placement
would not under the general permit be allowed in front of wetlands. The placement would be
within the confines of lot 1 and would not effect any placement of rip rap in front of your
property.
To comply with the general permit, 1 must ask our adjoining property owners for their
indication of no objection. In accordance with this requirement, please utilize this correspondence
as our request for your no objection response. If you have any questions, please do not hesitate
to call me at (919)728-2198..
Please sign statement below indicating no objection and return to me in the enclosed self-
addressed stamped envelope. You do have the right to object and you can also indicate that

Dear Mr. Gillikin,
John Flynn and I , as owners of lots 1 and 2 South Breeze Subdivision adjoin your
property and are pursing a general permit with the N.C. Division of Coastal Management, to
place concrete rip rap along a portion of our shoreline. The rip rap placement would be a
maximum of 500 feet and would not under the general permit be allowed in front of wetlands.
The placement would be within the confines of lots 1 and 2 and would not effect any placement of
rip rap in front of your property.
To comply with the general permit, we must ask our adjoining property owners for their
indication of no objection. In accordance with this requirement, please utilize this correspondence
