The current cable is secured to the Highway 17 bridge. As you are aware, the bridge now connecting New Bern to Bridgeton will be removed. The proposed plan is to submerge the new cable parallel to the existing bridge with an 800' offset to the east side. Enclosed with the completed general permit application are corresponding maps and cross - sections, the $50.00 fee, copies of the adjacent riparian landowner notifications, and a copy of the Nationwide Permit 12 Application.
