You have advised that you intend to build a solid rock wall bulkhead in front of and
around the corner of your lot adjoining my lot on the north side of the Neuse River near
Oriental and on the west side of Wiggins Point.
You have my permission to construct such rock wall as CAMA will permit.
My lot is on the westerly side of yours and we have constructed a rock wall in front
of our lot under a CAMA permit. The work was done by Ronnie Chadwick. We were
pleased with the work he did.

Dear Ronnie:
Thank you for meeting with me at my lot on Wiggins Point in Oriental, NC. As we
discussed, my brother and I (as co -owners) would like for you to begin the process for
acquiring necessary permits so that we can schedule the job for start and completion
during the next few weeks. Based on our brief conversation in Oriental, please send me
your estimate for the scope and cost of the job to include filter cloth and rock installation
along our existing seawall. It was estimated that your job will secure the water side of
our 80 foot wall plus the west corner for approximately 10 feet in order to tie in with tie
your recently completed job for Cyrus Lee.
As you requested, I have secured letters from both of the adjoining neighbors that they
have been made aware of the proposed construction and have no objection to completion
of this work. Copies of both of these letters are enclosed for your efforts in securing the
permits.
