The proposed project to be located and constructed as described
above is hereby certified as exempt from the CAMA permit re-
quirement pursuant to 15 NCAC 7K .0203. This exemption to
CAMA permit requirements does not alleviate the necessity of
your obtaining any other State, Federal, or Local authorization.
This certification of exemption from requiring a CAMA permit is
valid for 90 days from the date of issuance. Following expiration,
a re-examination of the project and project site may be necessary
to continue this certification.

plicant has read and will abide by the conditions of this exemp-

We have reviewed the information submitted zth=s office
on your inquiry concerning the necessity of filing an application
for a minor development pernit under the Coastal r-rea Management
Act. The activity you proposed is exempt from ne=_d:r:g a minor
development per„it as long as it meets the conditicr-s specified

adjacent property owner's area of riparian access unless waived
by a written agreement. The pier shall not extend --eyond the
established pier length along the sazre shoreline ,�r s_nilar use
and in no case extend more than one-third of the _..t:^ of the
water body and shall nct interfere with shell fis _ra :chises or
leases.
"This letter of exemption is valid for a period of 90 days only. A new
application will need to be submitted if construction is not commenced within
that time."
