Statement of Compliance and Consistency
This permit is subject to compliance with this application, site drawing and attached general and specific conditions. Any
violation of these terms may subject the permittee to a fine or criminal or civil action; and may cause the permit to become
null and void.
This permit must be on the project site and accessible to the permit officer when the project is inspected for compliance. The
applicant certifies by signing this permit that 1) prior to undertaking any activities authorized by this permit, the applicant will
confer with appropriate local authorities to confirm that this project is consistent with the local land use plan and all local
ordinances, and 2) a written statement or certified mail return receipt has been obtained from the adjacent riparian
landowner(s) .
The State of North Carolina and the Division of Coastal Management, in issuing this permit under the best available
information and belief, certifythatthis project is consistentwith the North Carolina Coastal Management Program.

Hi Doug, Please let me know if you have any questions. The form that you received is standard for obtaining a CAMA
permit. Any person that builds within 75' of the water (any structure) needs a CAMA permit. Part of that process is to
notify the adjacent property owners. From the picture, you can see where the dock will be located, and all of CAMA's
rules will be adhered to. The dock will be located on the side of the property furthest away from yours, and we do not
require you to sign the "l5' setback waiver" part. If everything looks good to you after seeing this new drawing, please
fill out the bottom and return. You can fax it back to us if you would like. 252-249-2429. Thank you.
