RE: Adjacent Riparian Rights
How are things, we hope everything is well? We are looking forward to a good spring and summer
season, and will attempt to get down as frequently as we can.
Please see attached adjacent riparian property owners statement signature in accordance with our
original agreement for the installation of our pier and dock, and our concerns about parking.
We would also be interested in moving our two wet slip west pilings about 3 feet to the west. I
believe the current spacing is just under 11 feet. We have had some difficulty getting ours and other
persons boats into the wet slip.
We were wondering if you would not object to this we would like to have these pilings moved.
Perhaps while your contractor is in place we could have him move them.

Re: Suspension of Work / Appeal of CAMA Permit Decision
Dear Sirs and Madams:
The Chairman of the Coastal Resources Commission, Bob Emory, has received a request for an
administrative hearing to challenge CAMA Permit 50795-C. The Third Party Hearing Request was filed
on behalf of petitioner Samuel E. Taylor, Sr., on June 6, 2008. Under N.C.G.S. §113A-121.1 (the Coastal
Area Management Act), your CAMA permits are automatically suspended upon receipt of a hearing
request and will remain suspended until either: (1) Chairman Emory denies the hearing requests (under
standards set out in the statute); or (2) there is a final Coastal Resources Commission decision on the
permits appeals. You may not undertake any development under the permits until further notice after
Chairman Emory issues his decision.
The Division of Coastal Management will prepare a recommendation for the Chairman on
whether to grant or deny the hearing request. The Chairman must make a decision within 15 days after
receipt of the hearing requests. Therefore his decision is due close of business on June 21, 2008. If you
wish to submit any materials for the Chairman's consideration in ruling on the requests for contested case
hearing, please send them to me as soon as possible.
