The dock will be made of the best materials and of the highest construction. My builder is completing the same dock on 311 Great Oaks Drive (in Hickory Bluffs) today and will be building one immediately next door to that, shortly after. These will certainly be the best constructed, most visually appealing docks in the area, built better than the common association dock in the sub division today. My dock will go straight out from my property to Jump Creek, the stream directly behind (please see my hand sketch enclosed). The dock itself will go out 250 to 300' and will end in a 12'x14' flat, observation area. You mentioned a concern as to how this will impact your site line with Queens Creek. The answer to that is that it will not come anywhere near Queens Creek. If from the rear or your property Queens Creek were at 10 o'clock, Jump Creek that connects in a perpendicular fashion to the large body of water (Queens Creek), would be at 3 o'clock, almost 180 degrees from Queen Creek and your site line. The value of a property on water is only insured by connecting that property to the water. Aside from the pure enjoyment factor, this is a necessary requirement to maximize my investment. I'm sure this is something you will do as well when you construct your home. Actually I believe the type of dock I want to build will in fact raise the value of your property. As to the environmental impact of the proposed dock on the surrounding area, I leave that to Mr. Howell and CAMA as that is one of their responsibilities. As there are a number of docks existing in the sub division today, including one on the other side of your lot, I can only assume CAMA feels there is in fact no negative impact on the environment. I like you would not want to see that occur. I'm sure after you review the enclosed you will find the proposed construction to have no negative impact on your property and in fact find it will enhance the value of your land. My home is a month away from completion and I want to begin construction for this dock as soon as possible. Please send your approval quickly so I can begin this project.
