To Whom It May Concern:
I am the president of the Homeowners Association at Cribbs
Cove., Arapahoe, NC. One of our homeowners has requested
that he be able to have a boat lift installed on slip F. That is
the slip assigned to Cottage 4, owned by Mr. Blake Stansell.
As the representative of the Homeowners Association and the
developer, Shareheart Development, we authorize the
installation of the boat lift.
The boat lift must be installed by a professional and licensed
marine contractor. The installation must be complete in
nature, including all electrical connections. The electrical
construction must be complete and must meet local codes, If
there should be any digging, all liabilities belong to the
contractor and the homeowner. The dock is used by all
homeowners and their guests, therefore, the control box for
the lift must be locked when the owner of the lift is not
attending.
The Cribbs Cove Homeowners Association and Shareheart
Development are not responsible for the lift, the installation
or the maintenance of the lift. The Homeowners Association,
nor Sharehart Development, will be held responsible for any
liabilities associated with the boat lift. The boat lift will be the
sole responsibility of the homeowner, his heirs, guests and
subsequent owners,
If a sale of Cottage 4 should take place, the current owner of
the cottage must obtain signatures of the new owner upon
closing,
