Please note that the permit is conditioned such that the platform shall not encroach into the tributary. Additionally the platform shall not extend over coastal wetlands wider than 6'. I have the pier pretty much finished except for the T on the end; which brings me to my question. Is it possible to make the T larger? I have to set more posts and would like to change the T from 4 x 12 to maybe 6 x 12. 1 built the pier only 34" wide, inside the posts, so if I built the T 6 x 12, the total square footage would be the about the same.
