The original CAMA Major application submitted proposed to impact 1802 Sq. Ft. of coastal wetlands and 3082 Sq. Ft. of 404 wetlands. The new proposed impacts to coastal wetlands will be 21 Sq. Ft. and 2462 Sq. Ft. of 404 wetlands. The revised areas of proposed impacts will allow the North Carolina Department of Transportation to change our permit application from a CAMA Major to a General Permit with the coastal wetland impacts being related to a pipe replacement. The 404 wetland impacts will be included in a nationwide 18- permit application to the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers. Enclosed is a revised CAMA MP-5 form and drawings for the pipe replacement.
