This permit is subject to compliance with this application, site

This permit must be on the project site and accessible to the -
permit officer when the project is inspected for compliance.
The applicant certifies by signing this permit that 1) this pro -

adjacent riparian landowners certifying that they have no
objections to the proposed work.
In issuing this permit the State of North Carolina certifies that

My clients have informed me this week that your client has made
application for a permit to construct a bulkhead and pier along the
front of his property. It is also my understanding that the pier
is required to be 15 feet from the property of my clients. As the
current litigation has been instituted, at least in part, to
determine the dividing line between your clients and mine, it would
obviously be inappropriate for your clients to attempt to construct
a bulkhead in the area in dispute, and it would also be
inappropriate for them to place a pier or dock anywhere less than
15 feet from the edge of the area in dispute. Accordingly, I would
request that you contact your clients and ask them to delay any
activity along these lines. If they insist on going forward, we
may be forced to seek a restraining order from the court.
We have recently had some surveying work done on the property, and
I have a meeting scheduled with my clients next week to discuss
this matter in some detail. My client has recently undergone heart
bypass surgery and has, of course, as a result, been incapacitated.
He is just now getting back to his normal routine. Hopefully,
however, after our meeting, you, Josh, and I can get together and
attempt to resolve this case.
I certainly appreciate your kind attention to this matter, and I
will be getting back in touch with you in the very near future.
