This permit is subject to compliance with this application, site
drawing and attached general and specific conditions. Any
violation of these terms may subject the permittee to a fine,
imprisonment or civil action; and may cause the permit to be-
come null and void.
This permit must be on the project site and accessible to the
permit officer when the project is inspected for compliance.
The applicant certifies by signing this permit that 1) this pro-
r is consistent with the local land use plan and all local
trances, and 2) a written statement has been obtained from
adjacent riparian landowners certifying that they have no
objections to the proposed work.
In issuing this permit the State of North Carolina certifies that
this project is consistent with the North Carolina Coastal
Management Program.

Dear Mr. Mercer,
I am making application for a General Permit to repair a
section of bulkhead owned by the Harbour Recreation Club,
Inc., 1100 Pelican Drive, Fairfield Harbour, New Bern, NC
28560. The section: to be repaired is between 370 feet and
375 feet depending on the best place to terminate this
repair with the continuing bulkhead that extends along the
Golf Course.
The section to be repaired is within the Shoreline Marina
that is located at 1100 Pelican Drive. The current concrete
cap and any failed bulkheading material will be removed and
buried adjacent to the bulkhead. The new bulkhead will be
the Shore Guard PVC system installed by Pamlico Piers of
Washington, NC.
Please find the following enclosures:
1. General Permit Application
2. A drawing of the Shoreline Marina area to be repaired
with the repair area outlined in Green.
3. A coIfEputer drawing of the whole Harbour Recreation Club's
Bulkhead system to be held on file by your office for
future reference and to show the location of the repair
area to be done under this permit request. We have
discussed this drawing in the past this year.
4. A letter signed by the two adjacent property owners
showing no objection to -repair of the Shoreline Marina
area bulkhead. The owners are Edwin Weeks, 904 Trinidad
Court for Lot 07/235 and Anthony Price, 6108 Felucca
Court for Lot #5/223.
5. A $50.00 check made out to DEHNR for the cost of the
permit.
6. A sketch and directions showing you how to find the
Shoreline Marina area.
I can be reached at my home if you have questions and need
me to sign the permit. We are ready to start repairs by
early December assuming the General Permit is issued before
this time frame.

Dear Mr. Mercer,
This letter is an attachment to our General Permit request
to repair the current bulkhead within the confines of the
Shoreline Marina owned by the Harbour Recreation Club within
Fairfield Harbour. This is the signature letter from the
adjacent property owners that they have no objection to the
repair of approximately 375 feet of bulkhead within the
confines of the Shoreline Marina area.
We the undersigned state that we have no objection to the
repair of the bulkheads within the boundaries of the
Shoreline Marina owned by The Harbour Recreation Club
located at 1100 Pelican Drive within Fairfield Harbour.
