This permit is subject to compliance with this application, site
drawing and attached general and specific conditions. Any
violation of these terms may subject the permittee to a fine,
imprisonment or civil action; and may cause the permit to be-
come null and void.
This permit must be on the project site and accessible to the
permit officer when the project is inspected for compliance.
The applicant certifies by signing this permit that 1) this pro -
is consistent with the local land use plan and all local
nances, and 2) a written statement has been obtained from
adjacent riparian landowners certifying that they have no

Re: Notification of Adjacent Property Owners for CAMA permit.
Dear Ms. Houston:
As you know, some time ago I contacted you concerning my intention
to build a dock on my property at Lot 29, Spooners Creek West
subdivision. The physical location being on the corner of Harbor
Drive (SR 1297) and South Spooners Street, Carteret County. I also
indicated that I intended to complete the existing bulk head by
turning it back landward 90 degrees and filling the portion behind
with sand and top soil. I also indicated that I intended to
stabilize the 404 wet land shore line with riprap to the ditch
which runs parallel to my west property line and Harbor Drive (SR
1297).
The dock has been completed. However, in order to complete the
bulk head and stabilize the shore line, I must reapply for another
CAMA permit which requires that I notify the adjacent property
owners of my intentions. The area of concern is located on the
water front 72 feet from State Road 1297 and 118 feet from the next
property line. I have attached drawings which depicts the project.
I am also applying for a 2nd. CAMA permit to distribute the dreg
spools which were generated when we built the dock and construct a
garage. Any disturbances of the soil 75 feet from the bulk head
land ward requires a CAMA Minor Development Permit. This includes
landscaping, etc. When I decide on the type and size of home to
build, we will more than likely be required to apply for another
permit.
The Local Permit Officer, Mr. Jim Mercer, has informed me that in
order to complete my development of the property and obtain the
required permits, I must show proof of notification of adjacent
property owners by having you sign and date the end of this letter
and return it to me. Return of the drawings are not required.
