On Thursday, March 16, Family Productions would like to film scenes for the CBS television
movie "The Face on the Milk Carton" on the beach strand at Wrightsville Beach near the
pier at the Oceanic Restaurant.
The first scene to be filmed is of two actors walking on the beach and talking. The second
scene takes place on the pier.
Four equipment trucks and a generator will be parked in the Oceanic parking lot. Crew cars
and basecamp will be parked in the public lot off S. Lumina. Presently the scene would not
involve equipment on the beach, except for a camera on a tripod. However in case of
inclimate weather, or a creative impulse, I'm asking permission to run cable onto the beach
from the parking lot; place lights on stands on the beach, put reflectors on the beach and
possibly lay dolly track for a dolly. And finally I'm asking to be able to drive a four wheel
drive pickup on the beach to transport the above equipment.
No digging will take place unless we use dolly track and then some slight leveling of the
sand might be required.
I've enclosed letters from the adjacent property owners giving their permission for use of the
beach and a map of the location. If you need any more information please contact me at 343-
3530 or page me at 313-8002.
Thank you in advance for your help.
Sincerely,
r
