This permit is subject to compliance with this application, site
drawing and attached general and specific conditions. Any
violation of these terms may subject the permittee to a fine,
imprisonment or civil action; and may cause the permit to be-
come null and void.
This permit must be on the project site and accessible to the
permit officer when the project is inspected for compliance.
The applicant certifies by signing this permit that 1) this pro-
ject is consistent with the local land use plan and all local
ordinances, and 2) a written statement has been obtained from
adjacent riparian landowners certifying that they have no
objections to the proposed work.
In issuing this permit the State of North Carolina certifies that
this project is consistent with the North Carolina Coastal
Management Program.

NOTES:
1) The dock layout shown on the reverse side is based on
the assumption that the riparian area for Lot #2 is defined
by the extension of both property lines projected out onto
the water. This is the area suggested by Mr. Ted Tyndall,
Field Representative, NC Division of Coastal Management, who
has visited this site on several occasions.
2) The proposed pier will be a five foot wide walkway that
will extend seventy et from shore to a 6' x 24' "L"
shaped ext-ens1 n. Four tie poles will be positioned to
create a 17' x 45' boat slip oriented approximately parallel
to the center line of Ball Creek.
3) Two white PVC pipes have been placed in the water off of
lot #2. Their approximate position has been shown.
4) This dock has been designed so that no set back waiver
is requested.
5) There will be a marl stone bulkhead constructed that will
extend from the common property line of lots #1 & #2 to the
marsh grass at about the center of lot #2
