We would like to place these pilings in a way that will allow us to tie up our 36' inboard diesel boat as securely as it now is, at Northwest Creek Marina. Please see enclosed diagrams. There is a chart & map of the immediate area, and a diagram of the proposed location & spacing of the pilings relative to the existing dock and relative to the adjacent properties. The shoreline of this property runs approximately north -south, away from a point of land which is occupied by our neighbor (downstream, southward) 5508 Gondolier. The bottom contour follows the shoreline and this complicates slipping our boat because this point of land creates a shallow region just southward of the end of our dock, this area also contains many cypress stumps. For this reason, we must secure our boat towards the opposite side of the property. However, we have diagrammed a plan which allows more than the required 15' setback from the riparian boundary on the northward (5502, Aaron) side. We would also like approval & permission to install a heavy mooring, of a type & size suitable for our boat, approximately 80' directly outward (approx. south-west) from the end of our dock.
