Yesterday afternoon, CL Braxton called me at home, and said Eric Pake had called him and asked him to get a General Permit to do the digging of the canal between the houses on Easy Street in Cape Carteret and the houses on Live Oak Drive, including CL.Braxton's house. CL had asked me earlier this year, and I said I would consider taking the spoil. I am not paying for any of this. They just want to use my land. Eric says he can dig out the existing canal without his barge, from my side, and then truck it to the spoil site on my lot next to the lot on Live Oak Drive with the big beautiful live oak trees. I told him I didn't mind, but I don't want him anywhere NEAR my four septic systems on lots that I have permits for, and which are listed for sale with Darlene Bell. I asked Alan Bell to restake the septic areas this morning, so there is no doubt as to where they are. I signed a letter yesterday for CL Braxton to be my agent, but I am not really the one requesting this work: I am just trying to help a neighbor, Can the General Permit be in a name other than mine? It looks like I am snakebit with CAMA, or rather, DWQ this summer, and I don't want to make anyone else suffer. Thanks for a reply, Paxon
