Statement of Compliance and Consistency
This permit is subject to compliance with this application, site drawing and attached general and specific conditions. Any
violation of these terms may subject the permittee to a fine or criminal or civil action; and may cause the permit to become
null and void.
This permit must be on the project site and accessible to the permit officer when the project is inspected for compliance. The
applicant certifies by signing this permit that [)prior to undertaking any activities authorized by this permit, the applicant will
confer with appropriate local authorities to confirm that this project is consistent with the local land use plan and all local
ordinances, and 2) a written statement or certified mail return receipt has been obtained from the adjacent riparian
landowner(s) .
The State of North Carolina and the Division of Coastal Management, in issuing this permit under the best available
information and belief, certify that this project is consistent with the North Carolina Coastal Management Program.

Enclosed is an Adjacent Riparian Property Owner Notification/Waiver form for marine
construction to be performed for Mr. Richard Grogan, 5622 Styron Drive, Oriental, NC. Please
review, complete, sign and return this form to our office using the pre -addressed postage paid
envelope provided.
The return time for this request is ten (10) business days. We would appreciate your reply at
your earliest convenience.
We will be dredging an area approximately 32' x 15' off the water ward side of the dock. This
project will be started soon. We would like to offer you a free estimate for any waterfront
improvements you may be considering. During this time we will have our estimator, Andrew
Law, frequenting the area or you may contact our office to schedule an appointment to speak
with him.
If you have any questions, please contact our office. Your assistance and consideration in this
request are greatly appreciated.
