Statement of Compliance and Consistency
This permit is subject to compliance with this application, site drawing and attached general and specific conditions. Any
violation of these terms may subject the permittee to a fine or criminal or civil action; and may cause the permit to become
null and void.
This permit must be on the project site and accessible to the permit officer when the project is inspected for compliance. The
applicant certifies by signing this permit that 1) prior to undertaking any activities authorized by this permit, the applicant will
confer with appropriate local authorities to confirm that this project is consistent with the local land use plan and all local
ordinances, and 2) a written statement or certified mail return receipt has been obtained from the adjacent riparian
landowner(s) .
The State of North Carolina and the Division of Coastal Management, in issuing this permit under the best available
information and belief, certifythatthis project is consistent with the North Carolina Coastal Management Program.

Slip fees have been raised. One month free will be given when paid by the iear. 'we
might need to consider giving 2 or 3 months to keep the boats from leaving dig -

Estimated costs of the electronics for the gas pumps is -S3500.00.
Roads: Richard needs the boards input on raising the monies to pave the roads. A.
proposed road maintenance agreement is forthcoming.
Community comments and concerns: Liens that were filed over 10 years ago we still on
record. Dot Piner has been working on having the liens removed. The liens hav e
expired. Frank motioned to void all liens and allow the Chairman to sign a waiver for
any attorney requesting it. Joe seconded, motion carried.
The water system: Frank reported that he had spoken with a county commissioner and
was informed that Sea Gate was in line for phase 2 for water service. He had since talked
with the engineer who told him that we were not in line for phase 2, adding that since we
are being served, the county would have to acquire by waiver or buy out the provider.
Surveying: The surveying being done is for the easement for the land trust.
Old Business: The utility easement for Waterway Drive was presented. Frank motioned
to grant the easement to the property owners. Joe seconded. Motion carried 7 yes, Gary
Hill abstaining.
Frank stated that John. Howell had requested permission to install an inverte&fiffort his

New Business: Joe Mitchell presented proposals from 2 outside CPA/Bookkeeping
firms. Joe motioned to accept Brad Piner's proposal of $250.00 for the bookkeeping
services. Bookkeeping will be on daily entries from an operational statement from the
marina. Accounting for slip rental, marina and everything run through the cash register.
A quarterly report for all property owners as well as a monthly report for the board would
be done. At the same time, there would be the capability to send a newsletter to the
property owners. Mr. Piner's office would also be set up to do payroll as well as the tax.

Frank Kivett offered a substitute motion that there be an audit of the Sea. Gate books and
that the office be moved to the clubhouse. Richard Cross seconded. NO VOTE
Frank withdrew his motion and moved to table the issue of discussing the books. Dennis
