This permit is subject to compliance with this application, site
drawing and attached general and specific conditions. Any
violation of these terms may subject the permittee to a fine,
imprisonment or civil action; and may cause the permit to be-
come null and void.
Thispermit must be on the project site and accessible to the
permit officer when the project is inspected for compliance.
The applicant certifies by signing this permit that 1) this pro-
ject is consistent with the local land use plan and all local
ordinances, and 2) a written statement has been obtained from
adjacent riparian landowners certifying that they have no
objections to the proposed work.

Street, on Taylors Creek, in Beaufort, Carteret County.
Please be advised, I failed to obtain your signature on the permit and in order to validate
this permit, you need to sign the enclosed copies (pink & yellow) and return them to us in the
enclosed, self-addressed envelope. Retain the white copy (given to you previously) for your
files.
Your early attention to this matter would be appreciated.

As we discussed a couple of weeks ago we have a contract to
purchase the above property contingent on being able to get
appropriate permits for a dock to accommodate a sail boat and a
boat lift. Julius Taylor looked at the site and designed a
proposal which he thought would work for that facility. He did
that assuming that I could get the waiver of the western neighbor,
Mr. and Mrs. Potter but without the waiver of the eastern neighbor,
Mrs. Ellenburg (who lives at 1502 Front St.). I have asked Mrs.
Ellenburg has agreed to allow me to come within 10 feet of her side
lot line (in other words waive 5 feet of her protection) and she
has agreed. Consequently, I have made some pencil changes in Mr.
Taylor's proposal and enclose a copy.
Please consider this letter my application.
I will forward to you the waiver of the neighbors within a few
days, but I wanted to go ahead and get the drawing to you for your
consideration. I am sure the seller is anxious to have that
contingency removed.
