Statement of Compliance and Consistency
This permit is subject to compliance with this application, site drawing and attached general and specific conditions. Any
violation of these terms may subject the permittee to a fine or criminal or civil action; and may cause the permit to become
null and void.
This permit must be on the project site and accessible to the permit officer when the project is inspected for compliance. The
applicant certifies by signing this permit that 1) prior to undertaking any activities authorized by this permit, the applicant will
confer with appropriate local authorities to confirm that this project is consistent with the local land use plan and all local
ordinances, and 2) a written statement or certified mail return receipt has been obtained from the adjacent riparian
landowner(s) .
The State of North Carolina and the Division of Coastal Management, in issuing this permit under the best available
information and belief, certifythatthis project is consistentwith the North Carolina Coastal Management Program.

Marina, Salter Path, Carteret County.

envelope. If the signed permit copies are not returned to this office before the initiation of
development, you will be working without authorization and will be subject to a Notice of
Violation and subsequent civil penalties.

There are 28 boat slips located on the left side of Tradewinds Marina with ten slip that currently have a
boat lift installed. These boatlifts were installed in 2005 after approval was received for 28 slips. Due
to financial concerns, only ten of the 28 slips were installed in space number 2, 3 21, 22, 23, 24, 25,
26, 27, and 28during the year 2005.
This proposal is to install six additional boatlifts in slip number 4, 10, 11, 12, 13 and 20. This will
leave twelve slips as in -water slips and 16 as slips with boat lifts installed.
Each of these boatlifts will be identical to the current lifts, that is, 70001bs Tide Tamer low profile lifts
