Statement of Compliance and Consistency
This permit is subject to compliance with this application, site drawing and attached general and specific conditions. Any
violation of these terms may subject the permittee to a fine or criminal or civil action; and may cause the permit to become
null and void.
This permit must be on the project site and accessible to the permit officer when the project is inspected for compliance. The
applicant certifies by signing this permit that 1) prior to undertaking any activities authorized by this permit, the applicant will
confer with appropriate local authorities to confirm that this project is consistent with the local land use plan and all local
ordinances, and 2) a written statement or certified mail return receipt has been obtained from the adjacent riparian
landowner(s) .
The State of North Carolina and the Division of Coastal Management, in issuing this permit under the best available
information and belief, certifythatthis project is consistentwith the North Carolina Coastal Management Program.

I am the property owner located at 104 Henson Court and as you well know by now, I feel I have
made a tremendous difference in both of our property values. As well as keeping up my own
property, I have also kept your lot cut several times, which has not been a problem with me.
This past year, we installed a new roof on our house and garage; also repainted the exterior of the
house, and spruced up the landscaping. Along with this, I would like to do a small improvement
at my end corner of the property. This project will include putting up a small floating dock or
squaring off the corner as highlighted on the sketch drawing provided for you, which will take
me just up the property lines. I assure you that it will be no inconvenience to you or any future
homeowners. If necessary, we can discuss some sort of price that would be satisfactory in order
to complete this project.
Therefore, I would ask that you please consider allowing me to go ahead with this project by
signing the sketch and sending it back to me in the self-addressed stamped envelope enclosed. I
am enclosing a copy for your records as well. Thank you for your time and consideration.
