Statement of Compliance and Consistency
This permit is subject to compliance with this application, site drawing and attached general and specific conditions. Any
violation of these terms may subject the permittee to a fine or criminal or civil action; and may cause the permit to become
null and void.
This permit must be on the project site and accessible to the permit officer when the project is inspected for compliance. The
applicant certifies by signing this permit that 1) prior to undertaking any activities authorized by this permit, the applicant will
confer with appropriate local authorities to confirm that this project is consistent with the local land use plan and all local
ordinances, and 2) a written statement or certified mail return receipt has been obtained from the adjacent riparian
landowner(s) .
The State of North Carolina and the Division of Coastal Management, in issuing this permit under the best available
information and belief, certifythatthis project is consistentwith the North Carolina Coastal Management Program.

TRACT ONE:
BEING all of Lot Number Sixteen (16), Section 11, Salty Shores Subdivision, as the same appears on that map of
record in Map Book 11, Page 63, Carteret County Registry.
This conveyance is made and accepted subject to those Restrictive Covenants of record in Book 365, Page 82,
Carteret County Registry.
TRACT TWO:
BEING that area lying between the northmost edge of that bulkhead lying on the south side of the canal and the
north lot line of lot Sixteen (16), Section II, Salty Shores Subdivision, as shown in Map Book 11, Page 63, Carteret
County Registry, and a northwardly extension of the east and west lot lines of lot Sixteen (16), to said northmost
edge of bulkhead.
Grantee by acceptance of this conveyance, covenants, and agrees to maintain the seawall located on the north side
of the tract of land hereinabove described in a good condition, and further agrees to help maintain the canal to the
point said canal reaches Salty Shores Marina, This covenant shall run with the land and shall be binding to the
Grantee, his heirs and assigns.
As to Tract Two, Grantor makes no warranty, express or implied, as to the title to the property hereinabove
