White, III 2002 Saint George Place Kinston, North Carolina 28504 Dear Mr. White: April 20, 2007 This correspondence is in reference to your February 19, 2007 letter of objection to the bulkhead proposal of Mr. John Sipp, adjacent to Bogue Sound, located at 218 Bayview Blvd. in Atlantic Beach, Carteret County, NC. The DCM reviewed the application along with the pertinent rules of the Coastal Resources Commission in conjunction with your objections and determined that the project is consistent with the Commission's rules. Therefore, the DCM issued CAMA General Permit #48477-C to Mr. John Sipp on April 18, 2007, authorizing the bulkhead as proposed. If you wish to appeal this permit decision, you must file a Third Party Hearing Request with the Director of the Division of Coastal Management, Mr. Charles S. Jones, Department of Environment and Natural Resources within 20 days of the permit decision. A copy must also be sent to the Attorney General's Office, Environmental Division.
