Statement of Compliance and Consistency
This permit is subject to compliance with this application, site drawing and attached general and specific conditions. Any
violation of these terms may subject the permittee to a fine or criminal or civil action; and may cause the permit to become
null and void.
This permit must be on the project site and accessible to the permit officer when the project is inspected for compliance. The
applicant certifies by signing this permit that 1) prior to undertaking any activities authorized by this permit, the applicant will
confer with appropriate local authorities to confirm that this project is consistent with the local land use plan and all local
ordinances, and 2) a written statement or certified mail return receipt has been obtained from the adjacent riparian
landowner(s) .
The State of North Carolina and the Division of Coastal Management, in issuing this permit under the best available
information and belief, certify that this project is consistent with the North Carolina Coastal Management Program.

I included a copy of the contract as proof of agency, and to provide his
permanent address for your records etc.
We are proposing to remove and replace the existing wooden wall that has
suffered damage from Ophelia and other storms.
Grade on back fill would not come to the full height of the existing wood wall, but
about a foot to 16 inches below the top wood board.
tie has 103' across the front and 16' & 20' wings on the sides.

Build and install 140' vinyl seawall with 2-16' wingbacks on each corner. Panel
grade to be 1-1.5 feet above current grade and 4-5 feet in the ground with 8 foot
dead men on 6 foot centers.
Top whaler will be 6x6 treated. Cap will be 2x6 treated trimmed with 2x2's per
the picture I provided.
3/4"x15' foot galvanized rods to be buried below grade and roofing_ cement to treat
exposed outside edges.
We will transition the ramp and walk to meet the new yard height. Back filled to
new grade behind wall and construction area. Fill dirt/sand per desian
requirements. We will transition the fill dirt to a taper at the end of the work zone.
Vinyl is commercial grade, Everlast 4.1 (4200 ftlbs.) series in the clay color. vll'w
