violation of these terms may subject the permittee to a fine or criminal or civil action; and may cause the permit to become
null and void.
This permit must be on the project site and accessible to the permit officer when the project is inspected for compliance. The
applicant certifies by signing this permit that [)prior to undertaking any activities authorized by this permit, the applicant will
confer with appropriate local authorities to confirm that this project is consistent with the local land use plan and all local
ordinances, and 2) a written statement or certified mail return receipt has been obtained from the adjacent riparian
landowner(s) .

My name is Christopher Ives and I hope all is going well. I own the property
adjacent to you off of Crab Point Loop Rd in Morehead City and we are starting
the process for building a house. This is a form from The Division of Coastal
Management that is required by them in order to apply for a permit to install a
dock. I am planning to install the dock in the center of our property so that it does
not impact any of the adjacent properties. This is required to be sent via certified
mail and if you have no objections you can just check the "I have no objections"
section and mail it back or just keep the form for you records. No response is the
same as no objection. I am NOT going to place the dock within 15 feet of the
property line so there is NO need to fill out the waiver section. Please call me if
you have questions or concerns and I would also like to talk to you about
driveway access and locations.

This is the updated letters that I sent to the adjacent property owners explaining the dock tee and 2
boat lifts. I have enclosed the waiver forms and mail receipts. Please let me know when you can get an
amendment or addition to our existing permit since we will be trying to acquire a building permit from
Morehead City Planning and Inspections as soon as possible.

Here is a form from The Division of Coastal Management that is required by them
in order to apply for a permit to install a dock. I am sending you this again
because I did not specify in the application I sent you the first time that there will
be a 8' by 20' Tee at the end and 2boat lifts. I am planning to install the dock in
the center of our property so that it does not impact any of the adjacent
properties. This is required to be sent via certified mail and if you have no
objections you can just check the "I have no objections" section and mail it back
or just keep the form for you records. No response is the same as no objection. I
am NOT going to place the dock within 15 feet of the property line so there is NO
need to fill out the waiver section. CAN YOU PLEASE CHECK THE "I HAVE NOT
OBJECTIONS" AND MAIL THIS BACK TO ME. Please call me if you have questions
or concerns.
