Statement of Compliance and Consistency
This permit is subject to compliance with this application, site drawing and attached general and specific conditions. Any
violation of these terms may subject the permittee to a fine or criminal or civil action; and may cause the permit to become
null and void.
This permit must be on the project site and accessible to the permit officer when the project is inspected for compliance. The
applicant certifies by signing this permit that 1) prior to undertaking any activities authorized by this permit, the applicant will
confer with appropriate local authorities to confirm that this project is consistent with the local land use plan and all local
ordinances, and 2) a written statement or certified mail return receipt has been obtained from the adjacent riparian
landowner(s) .
The State of North Carolina and the Division of Coastal Management, in issuing this permit under the best available
information and belief, certify that this project is consistent with the North Carolina Coastal Management Program.

Ms. Styron, I've talked to you about these two general permit requests in the past, and
finally got all the riparian rights papers signed.
One permit request is for a new seawall, docks, boat mooring and boat lift. For that
permit, I have riparian rights papers signed from both bordering (East- Mr. Flowers and
West- Mr. Fisher) neighbors.
The second permit request is for a boat ramp that is shared equally between myself and
the neighbor to my West (Mr. Fisher) and therefore is a "joint request". Included with
that request are riparian rights papers from my neighbor to the East (Mr. Flowers) and
Mr. Fisher's neighbor to the West (Mr. F. East).
Rather than duplicate the drawings for the projects, they are included as presented to the
riparian rights owners.
I consulted with personnel at the Carteret building and planning office and they said their
needs would be dependent on what CAMA says/does. Please let me know as soon as
you know what I need to pursue with Carteret Building and Planning. If I could get that
started while you are working on the permits, that would be great.
