Statement of Compliance and Consistency
This permit is subject to compliance with this application, site drawing and attached general and specific conditions. Any
violation of these terms may subject the permittee to a fine or criminal or civil action; and may cause the permit to become
null and void.
This permit must be on the project site and accessible to the permit officer when the project is inspected for compliance. The
applicant certifies by signing this permit that 1) prior to undertaking any activities authorized by this permit, the applicant will
confer with appropriate local authorities to confirm that this project is consistent with the local land use plan and all local
ordinances, and 2) a written statement or certified mail return receipt has been obtained from the adjacent riparian
landowner(s) .
The State of North Carolina and the Division of Coastal Management, in issuing this permit under the best available
information and belief, certify that this project is consistent with the North Carolina Coastal Management Program.

As you may know, I own the property at 245 Star Hill Drive, which is
adjacent to your lot. I am in the process of having a sea wall and boatlift
constructed in the canal adjacent to your property and as required by
CA.MA I would like your approval and signature on the enclosed
document. If you could please sign this document and return it to mein
the enclosed pre -addressed envelope at your earliest convenience I would
very much appreciate it. Also, if you may provide any comments on the
proposed project in writing for consideration by permitting officials to the
Division of Coastal Management within 10 days of this notice. Please
note that no response will be interpreted as no objection. In addition, I
am considering on checking into doing some dredging in the canal and
would like to know if you would be interested in having some of the
canal in front of your lot dredged as well. If so, let me know and I will
contact you at a later date when I have more information_
