Statement of Compliance and Consistency

violation of these terms may subject the permittee to a fine or criminal or civil action; and may cause the permit to become
null and void.
This permit must be on the project site and accessible to the permit officer when the project is inspected for compliance. The
applicant certifies by signing this permit that 1) prior to undertaking any activities authorized by this permit, the applicant will
confer with appropriate local authorities to confirm that this project is consistent with the local land use plan and all local
ordinances, and 2) a written statement or certified mail return receipt has been obtained from the adjacent riparian
landowner(s) .
The State of North Carolina and the Division of Coastal Management, in issuing this permit under the best available
information and belief, certify that this project is consistent with the North Carolina Coastal Management Program.

Good morning Lowana. I was going to add your 14 finger piers (dimensioned at 15 ft.
x 5 ft.) last night for the copy you sent of GP 50173, but I noticed that the
,e.cca ion activity associated with the basin channel was not in the permit you had
entered. I can' read what the "length, width, depth" dimensions are that match that
activity so I could go ahead and put it in. The volume is 995 cubic yards, but for
excavation(dredging) we will need length, width, depth. If you supply me with that
info, I'll go ahead and put it in along with the 14 finger piers. Also, I noticed
the ri r tivit had no length or width measurements (they were entered as 0 )
Usally that in can e o ai oo iagram on t ue permit form, but
since there was no diagram, can you check with Heather and see what the dimensions
are for the r;nran? I'll correct that from 0 to whatever you find out when I inp t
the 14 finger piers. When in doubt what dimensions go with what activity, you can go
to the main data entry page where you indicate you want to put a permit in (that is
the first page you see after logging in) and under the Reference section on that page
you will find the Activity heading. Clicking on that displays all the current
activities/dimensions you should see in your dropdown lists on your data entry page.
